NSW:Two men hurt after Sydney shootings

SYDNEY, Dec 14 AAP - Two separate shootings in Sydney have left two men in hospital.

The first shooting took place in Sydney's south when a car stopped alongside a Range
Rover parked in Rockdale Plaza Drive at Rockdale about 8.20pm (AEDT) on Tuesday.

A number of shots were fired from the sedan towards the Range Rover, police said.

A man in the Range Rover was taken to St George Hospital suffering minor, non-life
threatening injuries.

About two hours later, police rushed to a house at Roselands, in Sydney's southwest,
after neighbours reported hearing a gunshot.

Inside they found a 21-year-old man with a wound to his torso.

He was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

Police do not believe the two shootings are linked.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
